Job duties:
- Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route destinations, parking, break periods, etc.) as well as with company policies.
- Pickup and deliver goods as required.
- Inspect trucks to ensure working conditions of brakes, lights, wipers, windshield, fire extinguisher, flares and other safety equipment in the truck.
- Ensure that cargo is well secured.
- Maintain a log of the condition of the truck, and any cases of accidents.
- At the end of the journey handover records of deliveries, receipts, payments, mechanical problems, etc.
Requirements:
- Class A CDL valid in Minnesota
- Current DOT medical card
- Clean driving record
- A minimum of two (2) years or 100,000 miles related experience
- Undergo preemployment screenings, including a drug test and a background check
- The ideal CDL Truck Driver candidate will be flexible, have experience with large over-sized loads and great customer service.
