Sandwich maker needed at Mudgie s Deli in Corktown

Job duties:

Follow all cooking techniques and recipes as instructed by management
Follow all food handling and safety guidelines as specified by the restaurant managers and by the Wayne County Board of Health
Set up your station and prepare food according to Specifications
Work in and maintain a clean work area
Report to the General Manager, Kitchen Manager

Job Requirements:

Demonstrate a solid knowledge of all menu items
The ability to follow all standard recipes, food preparation and cooking techniques
Ability to work quickly and cleanly while preparing properly cooked and visually appealing food
Ability to work closely with fellow employees in a professional manner
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a calm composure and a friendly demeanor
Must maintain personnel hygiene in accordance to the Wayne County Board of Health standards for food service employees
Understand how to use and maintain all kitchen equipment
The ability to lift 50 pounds and be on your feet for long periods of time
Come to work on time and with a positive attitude every shift
Following all policies and procedures as listed in the Mudgie's Employee Manual
High school diploma and food safety training will be considered a plus
