Job duties:
- Follow all cooking techniques and recipes as instructed by management
- Follow all food handling and safety guidelines as specified by the restaurant managers and by the Wayne County Board of Health
- Set up your station and prepare food according to Specifications
- Work in and maintain a clean work area
- Report to the General Manager, Kitchen Manager
Job Requirements:
- Demonstrate a solid knowledge of all menu items
- The ability to follow all standard recipes, food preparation and cooking techniques
- Ability to work quickly and cleanly while preparing properly cooked and visually appealing food
- Ability to work closely with fellow employees in a professional manner
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a calm composure and a friendly demeanor
- Must maintain personnel hygiene in accordance to the Wayne County Board of Health standards for food service employees
- Understand how to use and maintain all kitchen equipment
- The ability to lift 50 pounds and be on your feet for long periods of time
- Come to work on time and with a positive attitude every shift
- Following all policies and procedures as listed in the Mudgie's Employee Manual
- High school diploma and food safety training will be considered a plus
