Job requirements:
- UBI certified, equivalent education and/or on the job experience preferred.
- Mechanically inclined.
- Strong problem solving and customer service skills, as well as technical knowledge to match the ever-changing landscape of the cycling industry.
- Your own set of basic tools like hex wrenches, JIS screwdrivers and spanners ( large and component specific tools provided as well as a limited tool credit) A list can be provided upon request.
- Working knowledge of different components the make up a bicycle and the process to repair or replace them.
- Service writing and sales skills.
- Ability to search out resources such as technical documents and instructions.
- A good attitude and the willingness to learn.
- Flexible schedule.
- Ability to handle fast paced and sometimes loud work environments.
- Punctuality and reliability.
- Safety orientated and diligent worker.
- Needs to be able to work independently at times with little supervision
- Passionate about bicycles and fluent in the lexicon.
- Good organizational and communication skills.
- Sense of humor.
