Job requirements:
- 4-5 year field experience
- Capable of performing standard Preventative Maintenance duties on all HVAC Equipment.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose problems, change out compressors, failed parts, start ups, etc. on all A/C equipment.
- Understands technical schematics and control circuits
- Has experience in soldering, brazing refrigerant lines, water lines, etc.
- Communicates daily with dispatcher and technicians on reporting job by job information about equipment ID, completed jobs, problems encountered, assistance needed with repairs.
- Properly handles refrigerant, reclaimer, vacuum pump and other essential tools.
- Works in a safe manner. Follows standard safety practices including knowledge of tool safety, equipment safety and ladder safety guidelines.
- Interfaces with the customer on a professional basis and presents Dual Purpose in a positive light.
- Establish relationships with other technicians to learn from them to be able to troubleshoot customer tickets
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Experience with onsite customer billing when service is complete.
- One-year certificate from trade school; and some related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience would be beneficial but not required.
- Valid driver's license
